Role purpose :
To support Vodafone’skey strategic growth areas in Testing Function which requires a highly capable and experienced SMEs for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.
Test Service Lead is responsible for providing Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Testing Organization by initially identifying and subsequently defining the required tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced with the Test Artefacts.
This role also involves evaluating the outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle, Promoting Standardization and responsible for bringing value adds to generate efficiencies.
Test Service Lead is responsible of managing teams for several Service Owners (SO) (Up to 45 FTEs).

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Identify the scope of Testing and Review Test Strategy
Define and Review Test Strategy (Functional / Automation / Performance)
Design Test Delivery Framework
Estimate the Effort Required for Testing and prepare Test Plan for large and complex projects / programs.
Review the incoming Requirements and perform Impact Analysis
Implement Test Optimization and increase reusability
Analyse Test Metrics & direct / drive improvement plan
Understand Testing Landscape and provide Test Advisory
Evaluate Industry Standard Tools & Techniques.
Act as a point of contact for the customers’ escalations and review.
Manage and Coach a testing team up to 45 FTEsincluding their L&D plan.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
Excellent communication & presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)
Proven track record of software support with agile & CDI tools.
Excellent understanding of software development and delivery lifecycle.
Ability to work on multiple challenging projects.
Proactive individual, with leadership characteristics and strength in working within a virtual team with the ability to influence & build effective relationships with peers across the business.
Strong drive attitude for delivering organization strategic goals, improvements and efficiencies.

Must have technical / professional qualifications :
Proven hands-on experience with Complex environment Delivery.
ISTQB Advanced Testing Manager Certificate is plus.
Solid understanding of the Mobile (Android & IoS) Development and Testing Techniques.
Solid experience with ALM, Jira and Jenkins tools.
Strong Knowledge on Budget management and structuring.
BSc or MSc level degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
