Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
Direct the strategy formulation exercise of the Human Resource (HR) Department in coordination with the other Heads and the Chief HR Officer of the Department, by outlining project plan and implementations in alignment to the objectives and strategy of the organization.
Develop strategies based on business analysis that will allow the business functions to effectively meet its objectives and targets, in line with overall HR policies and procedures, and the Group’s strategy and direction..
Expert in HR compliance, with the ability to design, operationalize, and manage an appropriate functional governance framework.
You will have a strong understanding of HR policies and key processes across the employee life cycle so you can partner effectively with all Centers of Excellence.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Provides project plan on people practices such as restructures and succession planning
Develops OD frameworks for the business and embed the operating model and deliver improvements in org efficiency
Implements and manage effective governance to support evolution of OD and control changes to organization structures.
Provides analysis, benchmarking and regular reporting of data
Responsible for design of systems to support the organization design
Leads the development of comprehensive HR planning and analytics methods, models and projections; to include analytics of reward, turnover, absenteeism, strategic placement, etc.
Coordinates internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Use analytical information to support project plans, develop techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Designs, builds and owns dashboards, scorecards, and reports that will enable the business to improve capacity and capability
Develops reports and presentations to summarize data, strategies, and recommendations
Develops and oversees control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
Revises procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Follows up on changes in laws and regulations and ensure that the implications of these changes are effectively communicated to the relevant functions.
Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR policies Education / Certification and Continued Education
Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources
CIPD / SHRM certified (advantageous) Years of Experience
Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience, with at least 5 years’ experience as Business partner supporting a large, complex organizations.
A minimum of 8 years working experience in the UAE, and appropriate familiarity with UAE Labor Law, regulatory requirements, and employee relations practices.
