Provide chemistry control leadership and support / advise Chemistry Manager throughout the planning, execution and post close-
out phases of chemistry control activities for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) as per the regulatory requirements, operating policies and principles, nuclear standards for nuclear safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection, to ensure overall business performance objectives are achieved.
Staff Training and Qualification
Support and advise the following job tasks are performed timely and with quality to achieve highest level of safety and reliability.
Set management expectations and communicate with department to ensure high level of safety and reliability of plant systems
Monitor and coach to improve performance
Evaluate performance of individual staff to develop necessary training
Ensure training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills
Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance
Support and advise the following job tasks are performed timely and with quality to achieve highest level of safety and reliability
Develop and maintain Chemistry operations procedures, surveillance test procedures and periodic test procedures
Develop and support operating license documents
Develop and implement for Chemistry Program and Diesel Fuel Oil Testing program
Ensure plant operation readiness related to Water Treatment Plant, Condensate Polishing Plant, Chemistry Laboratories including Primary lab, Secondary Chemistry lab and Oil Analysis lab
Establish plant chemistry control strategy tor primary, secondary chemistry and cooling water systems
Prepare outside evaluation for operational readiness for IAEA pre-OSART, WANO PSUR
Implement tor OMS on Chemical Management System and Plant production system
Develop procurement list for equipment spare parts, special tools and consumables
Provide oversight on Chemistry control activities performed by contractors
Participate area and system tum-over process related to Chemistry laboratories and WTP, CPP, Sampling systems and Chemical injection systems
Conduct Self-assessment, apply Operation experience related to PO&C and SOER
Develop and manage the Chemistry Department budget
Develop input to the annual Business Plan and manage the Chemistry Department to meet or exceed Business Plan goals and Objectives
Develop Chemistry KPls and manage the Chemistry Department people and processes to meet or exceed KPI goals
Assess Chemistry Department performance using all indications such as KPl's CAP processes, data reviews and plant performance related to chemistry objectives.
Develop and implement improvement plans based on those assessments.

Follow all relevant company's HSE policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety off people, or the environment, who are at the employee's place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science or equivalent nuclear power plant work experience relevant to this position
4 years related experience which shall include 2 years nuclear power plant experience of which 1 years in a supervisory / managerial role at an operating PWR nuclear power plant, and 0.
