Acting as supporting counsel / advisor and providing legal guidance on the day-to-day legal transactions for Nurol LLC. projects, such as procurement, construction and commercial matters
English and Arabic language drafting mandatory for contracts and correspondence with counterparties and government entities
Contact with all projects and / or departments, providing advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents, as well as contact with government entities
Support in reviewing and drafting construction related contracts and legal documents including main contracts, sub-contracts, consultancy agreements, supply / service agreements, guarantees, performance bonds, amendment agreements, novation agreements, assignment agreements, settlement agreements, confidentiality agreements, MOU’s, LOI’s, joint venture agreements and consortium agreements.
Support in providing advice on the interpretation and application of contractual and statutory provisions in order to implement and enforce legal contracts or assist in devising strategies for negotiations, disputes and other legal issues.
Assist with legal disputes and arbitrations, directly and through external advocates, including handling contract breaches by third parties and the subsequent breach or termination processes.
Managing drafting of legal agreements / documents and external correspondence
Liaising with and assisting the various departments such as procurement, commercial, finance and administration with the provision of legal advice and legal services on all, commercial and corporate.
Liaising with government entities and counterparties
Managing external advocates and experts in their provision of services to the business.
Support in reviewing and implementing risk mitigation strategies on contracts and procurements
Support in reviewing and developing all template contracts relating to construction and development management
Assist in all types of employment matters and disputes before local courts in the UAE to including preparation of cases for filling, follow ups, attending hearings, handling enforcement of judgments procedures etc.
