winning Talise Spa, and the superlative Talise Fitness health club. About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sinbads Kids Club Manager to lead operations in Madinat Jumeirah Resort.

The main purpose of this role is to plan / organize and direct the overall operation of all children’s play areas / club maintaining established quality standards.

To plan, implement and promote activities throughout the club including special events. Responsible for the Hotel’s 24 hours Babysitting Service.

Your main duties will include the following :

  • Manage stated areas ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of Sinbads’ Kids Club, Water sports and Hotel activities.
  • Direct and liaise with the Sinbads Kids Club, Watersports & activities Team Leaders and Play Attendants.
  • Ensure all SOP’s, Risk Assessments, Policies & Procedures and Health Guidelines are followed accordingly.
  • Actively promote and encourage participation of guest and club members in activities & events.
  • Report to the Recreation Sports and Leisure Manager on a regular basis while also coordinating with other hotel departments
  • Supervise all aspects of the Babysitting Department.
  • Motivate and encourage the staff to ensure their best performance.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the curriculum and put these into practice.
  • Deliver on staff development and familiarize them with the best practice related to Childcare.
  • Prepare monthly rosters ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Establish good relationship and rapport.
  • Handle guest complaints.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness of the Sinbads Kids Club.
  • Ensure International Childcare Ratios are maintained.
  • Issue job requisition / orders and repair and maintenance of outlet.
  • To be responsible for the resources within the outlet.
  • Assure files appertaining to the Sinbad’s are up to date and available for inspection by the relevant government authorities as and when necessary.
  • Ensure all billing, finance and cross charges are complete following company standards.
  • Ensure all Babysitters complete relevant Babysitting Workshop.
  • Childcare & Education Experience recognized qualification above level 3 ideally 4 with regards to relevant courses.
  • Teaching Qualification Desirable
  • Relevant Core Training : Child Protection, Food Hygiene, Pediatric First Aid (International Standards).

  • Qualifications

    About You In order to be considered for this role you will have gained a degree or equivalent in Hotel Management from an internationally recognized institution.

    A minimum of 2 years experience working in five star hotel in a management role is essential. You will already have demonstrated your ability to deliver great commercial results and to manage and inspire a great team.

    You will also possess experience of working with diverse cultures and have very good written and verbal English language skills.

    Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office is essential. About the Benefits
