The Company Our Client is a manufacturer and distributor of frozen food products based in Saudi Arabia They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Jeddah The Role Key tasks Manage the relationship with the distributors including shipments stocks promotional activities payment terms credit collections and all other fundamentals of the relationship Ensure that distributors meet or exceed the requirements of sales and marketing fundamentals and monitor in-

market sales market stocks promotional activities competitive activities pricing strategies store visibility product awareness etc Conduct thorough analysis on the performance of each existing distributor and recommend and implement changes on the distribution strategy when required Provide the management with periodic reports on the performance of the brands in each country market Conduct periodic visits to the markets and gain first-

hand experience on these markets Support the distributors in developing the markets and explore potential leads for new markets Promote the customization of products and strategies based on the requirements of each market Prepare full rolling forecasting system for all markets individually and ensure the elimination of Out-

of-Stocks Reestablish the relationship with distributors on the basis of Principle - Agent rather than Supplier - Customer Practice efficient controlling methods on the cost of sales for all markets Coordinate with personnel and departments in the company on different activities including production marketing market research logistics etc Train and coach export team with periodical assessment to sustain a focused and motivated team Assure right implementation to value chain to be in the right price positioning Coordinate with international markets marketing head on the marketing agenda for his markets Coordinate with international markets trade marketing on the execution of trade activities and follow up on distributor 39s implementation Follow up on the IMS to assure primary sales flow take actions as needed to fix and be on volume track Work closely in the field to track competition and report its activities Demonstrate aggressive but fair approach to the relationship with the distributor The Person Skills required Bachelor s degree in business or related discipline Above 10 years experience in FMCG sales and business development preferably wide experience in handling distributors Perfect standard of written and spoken English Command over Arabic Good knowledge of Markets Good project management skills Excellent presentation skills Strong interpersonal skills Leadership and Team Management skills Excellent in follow through Work independently and with high discipline Budget management experience The ability and ambition to progress your career rapidly Organized and determined persistent person Good and effective communication and negotiation skills leadership Proactive and Team player Able to promote cross functional effectiveness Decision making oriented able to quickly react to changing environment Able to communicate at different organization levels Strong in execution to set clear execution objectives and assure delivery accordingly Ability to coach distributor 39s sales force Strong in field job with ability to frequent travelling High planning skills and experienced in driving that into related functions Locations United Arab Emirates Location City Jeddah Industry Sector FMCG Disciplines Sales Type Permanent Ref NLA-
