Key responsibilities will be to :
Oversee the teaching and support of our SEND studentsacross the school.
Lead the Inclusion and ELLteams, including our LSA team.
Monitor, andreport upon progress of SEND students.
Liaisewith all stakeholders including parents, external therapists andexternal providers.
Take responsibility fordepartmental budget.
Manage the Inclusionregister and associated documents to ensure accuracy andtransparency.
Work with admissions team andsenior leaders to ensure all prospective students are accuratelyassessed prior to entry.
To be considered, youwill require a Bachelor’s degree with furtherSEND / leadership qualification. Ideally this would include SENCOqualification.
The successful candidate will beresilient with excellent written and verbal communication skills.They will have experience of leading a team and effecting change inan educational setting and will have detailed knowledge of SEND andELL teaching.
