You as a Sales Manager you will be part of the Electrification Products Division and Marking and Sales Business Units (BU) based in Dubai, UAE.
The Electrification Products division offers low- and medium-voltage electrical installations, including EV infrastructure, solar inverters, modular substations, distribution automation, switchgear, measuring and sensing devices, control products, including KNX systems designed to integrate and automate a building’s lighting, ventilation, heating, and security, wiring accessories, enclosures and cabling systems, data communication networks, and power protection.
In this role, you are responsible for sales of products or systems within a designated market in accordance with strategy.
You will also be responsible to build long term customer relationships, manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues, identify and develop sales opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will include :
Main focus selling the complete EP LV products portfolio of the products like panel & enclosure systems, ACBs, MCCB, contractors, relays, motor management systems, MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, enclosures, KNX Solutions, GRMS, WA, LCS, automatic transfer switches, capacitor banks,etc.
to small, medium or large scale buildings, commercial, infrastructure, industries projects in Abu Dhabi region, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units or Product Groups per channel to market.
In the selling process work closely with all the stake holders such as end clients, hotel operators, main / MEP consultants, Interior designers, MEP contractors, panel builders, system Integrators, distributors etc.
to generate demand as well as convert it to measurable orders in line with the targets assigned for the year, specific channels and segment for Abu Dhabi region.
Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Leverage and maintain existing working relationships with all the stakeholders as well as related utilities in Abu Dhabi region like ADDC, ADWEA and even take initiative to build the new customer base.
Engagement and proficiency using Salesforce as a daily business tool will be a plus.
Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
how sharing and cross-collaboration. Strengthen ABB position in already existing market segments to the next level.
Timely reporting to the management on all aspects of business.
Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions as well as internal ABB legal guidelines.
Ideally you should be an Engineering graduate in electrical or electronics with 10+ years of dedicated sales experience in UAE specifically in Abu Dhabi region.
Must be based in Abu Dhabi. Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English is required. High integrity, self-
motivation, leadership, negotiations & decision making skills will be preferred. Sound technical knowledge on products & systems as described above and an ability to drive day to day business with minimum supervision will be a plus.
