Job Role : Senior Projects Manager -FMCG
The role of Senior projects will include,but not limited to the following : Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation ofproject from inception to hand over of the manufacturing unit whiledirect and manage project development from beginning toend
Develop full scale project plans, manageproject budget and resource allocation, Provide direction andsupport to project team
Quality & HSEassurance of the projects
Constantly monitorand report on progress of the project to allstakeholders
Define project scope, goals anddeliverables that support business goals in collaboration withsenior management and stakeholders
Determineand assess need for additional staff and or consultants and makethe appropriate recruitment if necessary during projectcycle
Determine the frequency and content ofstatus reports from the project team, analyze results, andtroubleshoot problem areas
Good experiencewith manufacturing business process and overall product qualityincluding the adherence to all regulatory standards.
Analyse the plant agreed cost base and financialobjectives including an overview of cost efficiencies.
Develop the management team and provide exemplaryleadership to employees in the achievement of theoperations.
Create an environment ofcontinuous improvement across the wholes facility.
Establish maintenance programs to ensure performance ofequipment according to plan
The Successful Applicant- For therole of Senior Projects, the ideal candidate must have thefollowing :
Minimum 12years’ experience in leading Plant Manufacturing greenfield projects
Must have an Engineering Degree inIndustrial, Mechanical Electrical discipline
Must be a Certified Lean Six Sigma professional, or anyrelated international manufacturing practices andsystems
Demonstrable management experiencewithin a fast paced manufacturing environment with high volumemanufacturing experience in FMCG
Knowledge ofboth theoretical and practical aspects of project management andproject management techniques and tools
Provenexperience in people management and strategic planning
Demonstrate a track record of managing a team basedacross multiple countrieS
Experience inmanaging change and delivering significant savings
Knowledge of SAP, maintenance systems and ISOstandards
