An Account Manager is required by a leading e-commerce company based in Dubai, UAE. The individual will be responsible for sales in Destinations and will be required to manage a merchant portfolio, while ensuring that the overall productivity of the sales team is in line with market standards and the profitability of the Sales Office is optimized.
Negotiations with suppliers for signing agreements / contracts on time
Manage Key Accounts and maintain relationships by constant follow up with assigned partners.
Participate in creating strategic plans and advise suppliers about strategies.
Market Visits to partners to maximize sales activity in the market and increase in the number of accounts
Be a medium for follow ups, complaints and problems.
Deliver quantity and quality reports to ensure business growth targets for sales are achieved
Responsible for the online content & to liaise with relevant departments to optimize it internally
Participate in Tourist Trade Fairs
Market the company brand name to suppliers.
To ensure adherence to all risk and control policies of the company for activities falling under the purview of the Sales Office
Arabic - Fluent / Excellent
English - Fluent / Excellent
Strong commercial and selling skills with a working knowledge of hotel distribution including revenue management
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organization including hotel management and owners
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic are a plus)
I.T proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet Technologies
University Degree is a must.
5 + years’ experience in a relevant sales / account management function
Experience in the working of Tour Operators, DMCS, Hotels & OTAs within UAE / KSA.
International background is a plus
Knowledge and understanding of hotel systems / Pricing Strategies / Room allocations
Understanding of how Social Media & e-mail newsletter works.
Valid UAE Driving License
Passport that allows global travel
