DESCRIPTION

Oracle Cloud Solution Architects bridge the gap between business and technology speaking the value language of business and technology with C level individuals.

They combine adeep understanding of technology and architectural patterns to drive ITtransformation initiatives that meet the business objectives of our customers.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, youwill be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presalestechnical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customerswhile ensuring customer satisfaction.

Focuses on large or complex salesopportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

The Cloud Solution Architect will beworking closely with Oracle Sales to develop new business as well as toposition Oracle’s Solutions at the heart of the largest transformations,including focus on solutions based on Oracle Public Cloud Services.

Ideal Candidates will be seasonedsenior level professionals who not only possess deep experience with ITtransformation but also significant experience in cloud.

A strong understandingand practical experience in planning and delivering cloud migration projectsfrom traditional on-premise deployment models

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to ourcustomers by helping them define business outcomes and translating these intoappropriate architectural and operational solutions that the customer can thenconsume through Oracle
  • Lead by example demonstrating aclear understanding of industry best practices and migration / transformationalmethods. This must include an ability to make these relevant to a customer
  • Manage and communicate to multiplestakeholders and team members both internally and externally
  • Create awareness in the market onOracle cloud capabilities through seminars, industry events and customerworkshops
  • To position Oracle’s Public CloudSolutions at the heart of the largest IT transformations,
  • Position requires approximately25% travel
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting / design / implementation with enterpriselevel integration technologies working across a hybrid model, e.
  • g. EnterpriseService Bus, Service Oriented Architecture and Integration Platforms on Cloudwith a good understanding of Service and Data Integration needs.

  • Capable of engaging at CIO-CEO-CTOlevel, and effectively map the IT structure of the customer and identify / uncover / develop large opportunities through a solution architecting approach
  • A passion for TechnologyArchitecture and Delivery;
  • A collaborative and team-buildingattitude;
  • Wide knowledge of IT market andtrends
  • Knowledge of full Oracle stackincluding Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen2
  • Technical degree required;Computer Science background highly desired
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential,and French will be an advantage.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Detailed knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloudcomputing, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, big data,Java applications, Oracle and non-Oracle applications
  • Professional experience with architecting / operatingsolutions and frameworks (ITIL, TOGAF, etc.)
  • Deep, hands-on design and / ordelivery experience in public cloud IaaS and PaaS services (AWS, Azure, Google,IBM or Oracle)
  • Understanding of security andcompliance ISO27001, PCI : DSS, FCA, Data Protection (GDPR).
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives(up to C-level), IT Management, and developers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as event presentationon-site and via remote digital technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification.

    Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process.Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member,providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and verycomplex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills inarea of specialization.

    10 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 15years business experience with relevant computer applications ordatabase / tools.

    Ability to implement the most advanced product features.Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge ofcompetitors.

    Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellentverbal and written communication skills : needs analysis, positioning, businessjustification, closing techniques.

    Ability to persuade others throughpresentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel asneeded. A / BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

    line / in person sales efforts. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Internet Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.

    Develops productivity tools and training for other Internet Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

    Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

    Support sales team in online / in-person selling efforts. Expert level responsible for formulating and leading presales technical / functional sales support activity for customers, as well as Oracle community development of resources and solutions based on market needs.

    Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform responsibilities is 15%

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database / tools.
