The Insight team is the management consulting arm of the ECEMEA Strategic Client Engagement team.
The primary role of the Insight team is to Bring executive presence to customer interactions for C-level credibility Gather customer and industry data to distill relevant insight for analysis Develop recommendations and quantify financial impact for accelerating decisions Curate and articulate a story around a compelling case for accelerated change Enable sellers to credibly estimate business value for bigger deals with lower discounts Provide expertise across entire customer lifecycle for value marketing, value selling to value realizatio
Responsibilities Lead the Insight ECEMEA Apps team through our most strategic engagements Work in conjunction with Architects, Domain Specialist, Solutions Engineers and Experience Designers to business-develop the set of assigned strategic clients, achieve required conversion targets for opportunities in which the team is engaged and help improve the experience and retain a focused set of strategic clients Lead acceleration of customer decision through value based transformational roadmap Understand frame value based on customer key decision makers and persona Understand the technical and change management efforts required to enable customer success, identify the associated risks and help with their mitigation Work with a broad range of Oracle roles to support complex Oracle opportunities with the appropriate skills, deliverables and outcome-based mindset Attract, develop and retain top-talent in the organization offering a fulfilling professional experience to our employees
Deliverables The role is business KPI driven, high level of flexibility will be requested in determining the adequate set of deliverables necessary to achieve the KPIs, yet a sample follows Enterprise Blueprints inclusive of Business Model Canvases, Business and Functional Capabilities Models, Customer Journey Maps, Value Chains Frameworks and End-to-End Process Maps. Current & Future State Architectures Client Specific Adoption Roadmaps (developed in collaboration with Delivery Teams) Hands on and personal leadership in a selected number of clients engagement
Expertise & Skills Expert level business acumen and understanding of customer business lifecycles Expert level in understanding the role of business applications as enabler of business transformation Expert level in customer centric experience design Expert level knowledge of value chains in at least one industry domain. Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force.
Manages and directs a staff of solution specialists and/or managers in providing specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales territory. Establishes and communicates departmental objectives and implements plans to ensure attainment of business objectives. Works closely with sales management to ensure proper utilization of resources and provides justification for additional resource requests. Oversees the Interaction with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market. Manages teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility. Develops forecasts. Participates in industry/product functions, seminars and round tables to remain up to date on industry or product knowledge. May deliver presentations/solutions to high level clients and industry conference attendees. May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important.
