Job Roles and Responsibilities :
Operates video cameras, on location or in thestudio, in the production of professional recordedprogramming.
Designs, transports, sets up, andoperates production equipment, including audio and lightingequipment, for field and studio productions.
Computer edits video segments on a variety of tape anddigital formats.
Completes trouble andpreventive maintenance reports on video and audio productionequipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and productionsets and properties.
Maintains equipmentinventory and field and studio production schedules.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties asassigned.
Atleast 2 years ofexperience directly related to the duties and responsibilitiesspecified.
Completed degree(s) from anaccredited institution that are above the minimum educationrequirement may be substituted for experience showcasingpurposes.
Knowledge, Skills andAbilities Required
Ability tooperate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio andvideo equipment.
Ability to effectively managetime and schedules.
Ability to configure, operate andmaintain studio and / or field audio, lighting and associatedproduction equipment.
Knowledge ofcomputerized tape editing applications and procedures.
Knowledge of professional audio and / or video tape editingand post-production procedures, techniques, and standards includingmotion pictures and operate 3D formats.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Moderate physical activity. Requires handlingof average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and / orwalking for more than four (4) hours per day.
Work environment involves minimal exposure to physicalrisks, such as operating equipment.
Work mayinvolve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extremetemperatures.
