What’s more, we believe that you have the following knowledge, capabilities and motivation :

  • Live and share the IKEA values every day
  • Education : Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years Logistics experience in an IKEA store, 3 years management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of IKEA Retail Logistics and the supply chain from end to end
  • Understanding of IKEA Retail Concept, In Store Logistics and Commercial Review Standards
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Good problem solver and able to work under pressure
  • Planning experience or involvement in previous projects is valued
  • Knowledge of store IT systems, Navision, SGF, SRS, Qlickview, DDT and PSS
  • About the Role

    You are responsible to secure the Logistics set-up, planning, ordering and implementation of all new store Projects while being the interface between the supply chain, Retail Logistics and the commercial Expansion project team.

    Key Specific Accountabilities :

  • Develop Logistics Expansion long term plan and scope of work in its function
  • Provide standard Logistics input to S&S study, Store Design, store order process and commercial planning
  • Calculate the Logistic budget for equipment and support with the financial figures (CAPEX and pre-ops)
  • Communicate range and forecast to RST Expansion for stock preparation on supply chain for new stores
  • Secure the stock ordering and delivery within time frame, and the IMS Logistic equipment procurement
  • Deliver the final commercial plans and its successful implementation in each Project
  • Support the recruitment and design the training plans and competence development for the new store Logistic teams. Support the Commercial Build-up.
  • Act as One Point Contact to other Expansion commercial functions, SO Logistics, Regional Supply team, IT regarding Navision and the new store team
  • Responsible for the documented Logistics follow-up and learning for next Projects
