Essential and optional requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager within a similar size portfolio, robust understanding of hotel operations, preferably in large hotels.
Strong leadership, communication and strategic planning skills. Culturally aware, and adaptable to a changing environment.
Must perform well under pressure, be innovative and able to drive creative and practical solutions to problems. Previous experience leading / driving transformation projects highly desired.
Awareness of the Novotel / adagio / ibis brand standards would be an asset. Must be fluent in English.
Reporting to the Vice President Operations, Economy / Midscale hotels Gulf & Levant, this senior general management position presents a strategic opportunity to work with an engaged, dynamic team to drive performance across 1,400 rooms and 3 different brands.
he / she will be responsible for :
Ensuring successful hotel operations across the 3 hotels
work closely with and representing the Owners’ representative
Delivering brand standards and ensuring the highest possible guest experience at all times
Creating a hotel culture that attracts, develops and retains the best possible talent
Developing and executing strategy and ensuring that the organization vision and goals are widely communicated and understood
Drives employee engagement throughout all hotels
Achieves the hotels revenue, financial and quality goals by directing the operation of the hotel.
Analyzes business results on a regular basis and takes actions to improve results as appropriate.
Develops and implements business strategies for the hotels, aligned with Accor & Brands vision.
