opening hotels. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are as follow :
Manage the provision of rapid interventions in the event of emergencies and the treatment for injured or ill patients (colleagues or guests) to protect the health of the patients and comply with the Group HSE processes and standards.
Provide direction for the treatment of patients in the clinic and coordinates with hospitals and doctors for the accurate and safe diagnosis and treatment of the patient
Handle the provision of training to all colleagues regarding medical cases and first aid treatment, to equip them with the required skills to be able to respond to upcoming medical requests / cases and provide the appropriate quality of care and services.
Manage the communication of all relevant information pertaining to the patient’s condition in order to provide support to colleagues, patients and their families in all situations.
Provide medical support to all concerned colleagues and dependents in order to ensure that all resources are available for various medical needs at all times.
Ensure proper levels of emergency supplies are maintained and assist in the maintenance of medical equipment mainly in the emergency vehicles to ensuring availability at all times
Assess and validate that all colleagues in the UAE are medical fit and possess all the medical certificates necessary for the execution of their role.
Ensure the development, update and archiving of all employee medical records and documentation, in order to enable the monitoring of the workforce medical status and the compliance with the local laws and regulations.
Monitor the local legislation and good practices on occupational medical services and practices and assess the alignment of the Group practices with the same, proposing all the required improvements.
Support and provide input for the enhancement of the health, safety and hygiene processes and practices within the SBU in order to increase the quality and safety of the SBU operations.
Manage the discussions forums and continuous research activities in matters related to new medical, health and safety developments to ensure that the best treatments and services are being provided in the SBU.
Manage the day to day operations of the SBU clinic providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and liaise with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of operations.
Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
Recommend some improvements to the Medical policy, implement approved departmental policies,processes and procedures, and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
About you :
In order to be considered for this role, you will have gained :
AEA or CCA or National Diploma or
Bachelor’s degree in Paramedics, Nursing, or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
Medical Trainings / related Certifications.
5 to 8 years of paramedic experience (preferably with an international hospitality company or renowned Hospital).
You will also have to demonstrate the following :
Excellent knowledge of key Medical and Health & Safety regulations and local policies and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of key medical procedures related to patient care.
Good understanding of core hotel operations and of the luxury hospitality industry.
Very good knowledge of the medical prerequisites and requirements of the hospitality sector
Very good command of the English language
