Reporting to the Assistant Chief Concierge, the Desk Concierge will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, personal / unique requests and creating a favorable public image.
Entertains guest whilst coordinating with his / her colleagues the concierge section with regard to their luggage, transportation details, mail / parcels and other personal guest requests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assists the guests with luggage for arrival / departure.
Escorts all the VIP's, long staying guests and return guest to the room.
Completes the follow up an trace report for concierge.
Prepares the transportation arrangement.
Completes the ticket reconfirmation and endorsement.
Delivers messages,parcels,mail and newspaper effectively and undertake any othe miscellaneous errands as necessary for guest comfort and convenience.
Raises / Lowers National Flag and / or hotel flag when required.
Ensures that all concierge,bellman,doormen,club car drivers and runner assist each other during peak time.
Maintains the cleanliness of luggage room,trolleys and Concierge counter.
Maintains smooth traffice flow at lobby as well as driveway.
Give accurate direction and necessary information for guests and issue taxi cards.
Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Director of Rooms, Front office Manager, Duty Manager.
Be environment friendly, reduce waste, recylce when possible and reuse whenver applicable.
1+ years experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).Fluency in any other foreign language is essential.
Familiar with local city area (tourist destinations, events and services found). Conversant with Opera system.
Proven track of delighting customer and up-selling.
