The CaféManager must ensure the seamless running of the M&SCafé in the most efficient and effective manner. Theymust deliver the highest possible standards of service, whilstbeing pro-active in maintaining and or improving turnover andprofitability, reporting to the Store Manager.

Key Accountabilities

Café & CustomerManagement

  • Seek andmaximise revenue opportunities and minimise costs
  • Protect the health, safety and well being of ourcustomers and colleagues
  • Develop a motivatedand high performing team committed to delivering cleargoals
  • Agree and implement actions tocontinuously improve the customer experience
  • Ensure Bi-weekly meetings take place with key personnelboth in the Café and the store to ensure the team arefully briefed and action points are recorded andachieved
  • Make yourself aware and notify yourteam of any menu changes, special requirements (including menuitems and dishes), outstanding orders or work tasks required priorto the commencement of service
  • Ensure allstaff are well briefed on their responsibilities and are givenconstant supervision and motivation on all aspects of theirwork
