Our client a leading FMCG company in thebeverage category is looking to hire a Key Account Manager to growsales in the HORECA channel in Dubai.
The Key Account Manager willplay an important role in profitably growing the business in Dubai,so as to achieve the planned profitability, turnover, market shareand customer satisfaction criteria agreed to in the strategic plan.
In addition, he / she will actively work towards increasing salesrevenue and market share for the company. The key challenge forthis role will be to continue to aggressively grow the market shareof the business, whist maintaining excellent levels of customerservice.
The role holder will also work closely with the marketingteam to assist in creation of the company's brand equitywhile at the same time, helping to further build the brand equityof each individual brand.
Some of the Key Responsibilities in therole include :
Focus on sales of core brands of thecompany and ensure adequate distribution to maximise companyprofitability. Identify the different segments in the market anddevelop and implement appropriate sales strategies for eachindividual account working closely with Category Specialists.
Informing the account of all new product launches in atimely manner and work actively towards maximising product listingsin the outlets.
Identify and research new customers / prospective clients together with the New Business Manager.Agreeing on sales and consumer activity plans for each new account,when they are handed over.
Build strong partnershipswith Customers in a manner which enhances sales both by value andvolume. This requires the KAM to regularly visit customers and keyinfluencers
Analyse, together with the Sales Manager,the sales trends in the accounts across various categories andbrands and develop appropriate Sales Strategies to maximize sales.
Implement marketing plans and all consumer activities inthe outlets in a manner which increases brand visibility and brandequity.
Ensuring payments are made within the agreedperiod of time and as per the company’s guidelines andfinancial policies. This may include collecting physical cheques ifbank transfer is not currently set up.
What our client is lookingfor in candidates :
Graduate level degree
3-4years of substantial sales experience in an FMCG / Beverage company.Preferably has strong relationships with Hotels and Restaurants inDubai.
Excellent public speaking skills
Ability to reach out to a range of audiences through presentationsand written communication
