Key Responsibilities : Developing andmaintaining a thorough understanding of applicable laws andregulations Develop compliance standards and compliance monitoringand reporting mechanism.
Identifying potential areas of compliancevulnerability and assessing the severity of potential compliancerisk. Monitoring implementation of corrective action plans forresolution of non-compliance items, and providing general guidancefor avoiding such issues where required.
Recommending or initiatinginvestigations in response to any violations of rules andregulations. Act as a focal point for contact with regulators andother industry authorities.
Ensuring that CBB reporting is done ona timely basis and updating / maintaining all CBB correspondence;Conduct Client on Boarding and due diligence procedures.
Daily / Monthly / Quarterly re-conciliation of client accounts with thedata setup to ensure the right entity has been on-boarded.
Client / Customer KYC reviews and maintaining all necessary clients duediligence. Devise, deliver & monitor an effectiveCompliance & AML / CFT training program for staff on anannual basis to maintain competency in accordance with the CBBguidelines.
Establishing and maintaining the AML / combating thefinancing of terrorism (CFT) policies and procedures. Act as theCompanys main point of contact in respect of handling anyinternal / external suspicious transactions.
Making external reportsto the relevant authority and the CBB. REQUIREMENTS : JobREQUIREMENTS : A minimum of 6 years experience in Compliance andAML.
Bahraini or expatriate. Approved person by the CBB. Has workexperience in banking / financial sector. Only short-listed candidatewill be contacted.
