Our successful Hotel Receptionists
ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained when processing reservations and guest requests
ensure all administrative functions of the guest services areas are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with strict adherence to the hotel’s standards and procedures
actively participate in a working environment where staff are fully trained, supportive of each other and competent
maintain the health, hygiene and professional appearance of the reception area and all who work in it
work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
At least 2 years experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
Manage check in and check out of all guests
Operate all systems and use all resources pertaining to this job
Must be able to utilise and update the CID System
Maintain confidentiality of information
Accumulate information, record data, and compile reports for process improvement
Articulate requests from guests in such a way it is relevant and accurate
Resolve guests complaints to the satisfaction of the guest
Promoting Guest Loyalty and other loyalty programmes within the operations
Cashiering of local and foreign currency
Receive and process reservations (walk ins and late reservations)
Process telephone calls guest and internal calls
Must be able to multi task and cross train
