Responsibility :

Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effectivequality control processes

Devise and reviewspecifications for products or processes

Setrequirements for raw material or intermediate products forsuppliers and monitor their compliance

Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legalobligations

Supervise inspectors,technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback

Oversee all product development procedures toidentify deviations from quality standards

Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements

Approve the right products or rejectdefectives

Keep accurate documentation andperform statistical analysis

Solicitfeedback from customers to assess whether their requirements aremet

Submit detailed reports to appropriateexecutives

Be on the lookout foropportunities for improvement and develop new efficientprocedures
