The purpose of this role is to manage three key pillars for technology : Stakeholders, Governance and Communication / reporting.
The role within BT is responsible for tracking strategy road map, blue chips for management including tracking and closing open hot spots and action items.
Role is responsible for performing R&D activities to understand upcoming technology trends working closely with industry leading research institutes like Gartner etc.
Should be excellent in putting together management ideas into presentations and should able to analyze data and convert them into meaningful reports and dashboard.
Role requires excellent communication and should able to nurture relationships with stakeholders and cross functional teams.
Key Result Areas
Project Management Office
Responsible for tracking CIO / CTO vision and goals for Technology
Support in implementing and maintaining operating model for strategic planning and the delivery of PMO capabilities
Track Technology strategy; capture strategic issues and the options for supporting and influencing the business strategy.
Align the Technology function and other business units on the strategic value of technology to maximize the creation of business value.
Support the execution of the Technology strategy through implementation of the IT operating model.
Oversee progress, timely communication and tracking of roadmap to support the Technology Strategy
Manage and track CIO / CTO priorities and ensure continued alignment with corporate strategies and objectives
Weekly / Quarterly / Adhoc reporting against the management priorities to all stakeholders (BPR / OPR / Operational metrics etc)
Experience of being a catalyst for technology in managing overall internal and external relationships / engagements
Measure KPI’s, tracking & getting open actions and hotspots discussed and closed with respective teams
Research and Analysis
Should able to perform detailed research on upcoming technology trends in terms of market feasibility, adoption and competitors
Should able to capture management ideas and represent them in the form of presentations and white papers
Interact with leading research providers (Gartner, McKenzie etc) to get more ideas on the upcoming trends in banking and technology
Should able to work closely with industry leading awards bodies for technology innovation and right representation of leadership in forums
Governance & Reporting
Tracking of all blue chip / Light house projects across the technology in the bank
Managing project priorities; develop and maintain demand / capacity model that drives a futuristic Portfolio Pipeline plan
Act as the single point of contact for all strategy related initiatives in the Technology portfolio in order to track, report and communicate to all the key stakeholders.
Ability to manage a range of initiatives and complex business initiatives and change programmes
Drive Process Improvement initiatives
Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy
Facilitate with Program / project managers to enable seamless interactions with stakeholders based on the data and metrics
Working closely with BO and Tec PM to develop stakeholder map, engagement metrics and communication charter
Provide briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholders
Arrange and attend stakeholder meetings with technical team members and ensure feedback of stakeholder responses and requests to technical teams are responded to within agreed timescales
Prepare and manage workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reports
Attend Stakeholder Engagement Working Group and expedite actions arising
Financial Management :
Instrumental in review and challenge for key strategic initiatives in terms of estimations, assessing the risk, and ensuring they are planned in an accelerated and affordable manner
Managing and tracking organizational business and budget planning
Design program and project processes and controls to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery within risk tolerances
Have full understanding of all work included in the annual technology plan including value of planned initiatives
Rapidly respond to changing business priorities and requirements and re-prioritize delivery plans, as required

Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
Senior Stakeholder Management
Greater than 10 years of experience
Expertise in Power Point, Excel, with the ability to extract and organize data
Ability to track and report at multiple levels across various stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization including non-
finance personnel and executive level.
