  • Receiving the project documentation and all the technicalinformation necessary to start the commissioning activity. Fillingthe site report and agreeing the actions with the Project Managerprior to site commissioning or modification.
  • Accomplishing the requested preliminary activities likepermissions, gate pass, power on or shutdown permits, applicationprograms download and documentation check using the proper softwaretools and instrumentation, according to company testingprocedures
  • Verifying the correctness of allthe hardware connections between the system (DA, MV, LV system,operator Interfaces and other network devices) under test makingsure that the installed cables and wiring are made according to therelated documents and are working properly.
  • Properly installing and verifying the correctfunctionality of all the installed devices in accordance with FATresults using diagnostic and application tools and following theproject documentation as reference.
  • Givingfeedback to engineering department for improvements in schemes,corrections of drawings or any other modifications if required bycustomer at site after supply.
  • Solving hardware and functionalincongruence if any found during site testing phase, modifying thewrong hardware or software items involved and testing again the newsoftware configuration.

  • Updating the systemdocumentation with proper mark-ups and software configurationperiodic updates, maintaining due trace of all the changes,following company testing procedure indications.
  • Obtaining the S.A.T (Factory Acceptance Test) certificatefrom the customer at the completion of the job, eventually with thelist of the pending items not yet completed, in cooperation withthe Project Leader and the Project Manager.
  • Collecting all the updated documentation at theconclusion of the commissioning job and sending it to the ProjectManager for the delivery of the AsCommissioned documents to the EngineeringDepartment.
  • Collecting all the certificatesand the other requested documents to complete the so called Log Project Book for the specific project anddelivering it to the Project Leader and Project Manager forcontractual use.
  • At the end of the testing phase cooperating withProject leader and Project Manager for the delivery on site of thesystem, giving proper instruction to the company shippingdepartment.

  • Yourbackground

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or AutomationEngineering.
  • A minimum of 6 years ofexperience in the specific field of application or similar fields(i.e. commissioning).
  • Required knowledge ofthe most common testing tools (hardware andcomputerized).
  • Required knowledge of safeworking procedures at site.
  • Required attitudeto interpersonal relationship.
  • Required goodrelations, team working, problem solving, english languageknowledge.
