Logistics Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

Co-ordinate purchase processes for all imports into warehouses / Hubs within area of responsibility to ensure timely ordering / arrival and correct goods receipts.

  • Ensure Materials Management and Scheduling / Planning for all assigned warehouses / Hubs of area of responsibility
  • Monitor stock aging at warehouses / hubs and coordinate adequate replenishment orders in coordination with planners
  • Develop and propose new business models to serve customers at area of responsibility more efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop , maintain & control a tool to monitor the logistics service provider’s performance for related warehouses / hubs to ensure optimised performance.
  • Act as a logistics focal point for area of responsibility to facilitate customer’s claims investigations , rush deliveries etc through sources logistics teams
  • Maintain & control all master data for related warehouses / hubs in coordination with material master team.
  • Follow up logistics customer’s claims and ensure corrective actions are implemented in coordination with quality team.
