The main duties andresponsibilities of this role :
Attend to all colleague meetings in the department andother related activities and be able to contribute suggestions forimprovement.
Performroutine checks on : hygiene, cleanliness and functionality ofgeneral operational equipment.
Coordinate and liaises with other dept. for dailyrequirements or when necessary.
Is efficient, diplomatic, and cooperative in dealing withhis colleagues.
Reportfor duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge atall times.
Maximize salesand profit by providing excellent value and service and utilizingsuggestive and up-selling techniques.
Ensure that care is taken in the handling ofall operating equipment so as to minimizebreakage / damage.
Ensureall bills are checked for accuracy prior to presentation.
Adhere to all Jumeirah cashieringand cash handling procedures at all times.
Demonstrate knowledge of individualcontribution to department objectives.
Suggest to manager or departmental trainer anytraining needed to enhance performance.
Has a complete understanding of and adhere tothe hotel’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health andsafety.
Maintain a highstandard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
Respond to changes in thedepartmental function as dictated by the Resort or seniormanagement.
Inspect backarea for cleanliness.
Inspect operational materials for cleanliness.
Carry out occasional duties asrequired by the Management.
Remain accessible and attentive to guest needs.
Maintain a high standard ofpersonal appearance and hygiene at all times
Assist other Front Office sections whenneeded.

The ideal candidate for this position will have thefollowing experience and qualifications :
Well versed spoken and written in Arabic as well asEnglish.
Previousexperience as Ambassador and knowledge of how to prepare and serveArabic coffee would be of advantage.
