  • Leadby example and a good ambassador for the IKEA store in all contactwith our guests, and give them a good reason to return again andagain.
  • Always look at our store through theeyes of our customers. Have a daily dialogue with our guests to getcontinuous feedback about their experiences and to learn more abouttheir needs and wants, then act based on their input.
  • Meet the needs of customers by being understanding andsensitive to diverse customers, by initiating and developingeffective working relationships with the customer and byestablishing trust and confidence with the customers.
  • Determine the customers’ requirements andassist them in their orders
  • Maintain contactand advising customers on news or recently received items ofcustomer’s interest or which have been reserved as wellas following up on quotations sent in an effort to convert toactual sales.
  • Provide the highest level ofCustomer Service.
  • Empower and encourage theteam to take immediate action to meet the needs of guests and giveinput on how to continuously improve our meeting with them.
  • Ensure our guests have a great shopping experiencealways throughout the day.
  • Commercial

  • Promote the sales of products by spotting andseizing sales opportunities, offering alternatives solutions toproblems and suggesting add on sales in order to achieve theestablished sales target.
  • Suggest means ofsale improvement to his supervisor as well as determining slow moving or nonselling items and suggesting salesaction.
  • Maintain a fully display of productsvia merchandising methods as laid down by the company.
  • Remain aware of developments in the local market bybeing attentive, to information given by customers, to advertisingand promotions in the media and also by making scheduled marketvisits so as to be able to maintain the company’scompetitive advantage and to properly advise customers.
  • Keep an update on changes in the company’sproducts range such as new items or changes in existing items aswell as informing the Sales Manager of any customer’sproblems / comments on the product range or gaps in therange.
