Job Description :
Will be a team member in the Weatherford Products Sales and Tenders group. Involves the direct preparation of quotation and tender responses.
Also to providing analytics on tender activity to drive tender response prioritisation and maximise Weatherford revenue and profitability rate of return.
The individual formally coordinates the tendering process, working with others including country, product line, procurement, customer service, logistics, legal and external customers.
Will have direct contact with external customers.
Manage the quote and tendering process (commercial & technical), from receipt of inquiry through compilation to submission.
Maintain RFQ, tender and order electronic file structure in SalesForce and SharePoint.
Maintain monthly reporting relating to quote / tender win, loss, value, awarded supplier on monthly basis.
Control and archive all Tender related correspondence appropriately.
Liaise with the Legal, Risk, Credit and Tax departments to secure their advice on all aspects relating to tender submissions.
Monitor tender activity and tender forward look on a weekly basis providing management with analysis as appropriate.
Assist with the coordination and control process of Contract Administration including initial contract document, amendments, variations etc. as required.
Receipt of orders and contracts with responsibility for review / revision and acknowledgement of customer purchase orders.
Once orders are accepted send documentation to Procurement and Customer Service for order placement with manufacturing.
Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with at least 2 years of sales / commercial experience.
