At FIS we are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Solution Consultant (Pre-Sales) who can successfully design and deliver key messages about the FIS Asset Management solution suite (FIS Investment Operations Suite) via presentation and product demonstrations.

Locations : Dubai, Hong Kong or Singapore

What you will be doing

Supporting Asia Pacific Middle East Africa sales

Use market expertise and knowledge of FIS offerings in order to clearly articulate the benefits and value proposition of the FIS solution suites to prospects in the region

Perform sales presentations and deliver detailed demonstrations for the core solutions while being knowledgeable enough to speak about other peripheral modules

Providing business and technical expertise in the Pre-Sales process

Respond to RFI / RFP / queries in a timely and professional manner

Identify and qualify prospects’ business and functional requirements in order to obtain initial project estimates and identify solution gaps

Report solution gaps to the product line and influence the solution release roadmap to be in line with the prospects’ needs

Build customer relationships by providing business and solution expertise

Work with pre-sales from other solutions to a solution architecture combining the FIS modules to provide a value proposition tailored to the prospect’s requirements

Growing into an integral part to the global Pre-Sales organization

Help build and maintain global Pre-Sales processes, supporting documentation and collaterals

  • Interface with the Product Management, Professional Services, Client eXperience (Support) and Development organizations
  • Work with Marketing, Product Strategy and other FIS Segments on researching new market verticals and opportunities
  • Becoming a market expert

    Provide coverage at relevant trade forums and other customer events

  • Read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts, trends and drivers and regulatory initiatives
  • Essential

    At least 3 years of experience working in a relevant business area and at least 5-year working experience

    Should have experience and understanding of the lifecycle of a fund. In particular :

  • accounting principles for funds
  • process of generating NAV
  • corporate action processing
  • Understand the underlying functional breakdown of the processes front-to-back for liquid assets

    Understanding of the entire sales cycle, from market research through contract signing

    Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements

    Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team

    Ability to organise, prioritise, and multi-task

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language

    Outstanding presentation abilities

    Desirable

    At least 2 years of experience working within a software company as a Pre-Sales / Professional Services consultant

    Additional language relevant to the region and business area

    Experience across illiquid assets
