The client is an online B2B platform looking for a CTO to be the public faceof the tech department and provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of their business.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

Enable the business to reach its financial and marketing goals using an innovative tech approach.

Managing a tech team of 10 developers and involved in critical tech decisions such as tech design planning, product architecture layout and development platform selection.

Ensuring technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely

Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure

Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage

Skills Required :

Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role

Strong technical skills (API development and testing, corporate tech system administration, DevOps etc)

Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy

Understanding of budgets and business-planning

Ability to conduct technological analyses and research

Leadership and mentorship

Strategic thinking

Creativity and problem solving aptitude
