Supports the management of IT Department inthe ongoing maintenance and operations of all InformationTechnology implemented within all properties under Meydan Hotelsand Hospitality.
Responsible for the daily operation,support, and security of the technology and data that support andenable the business operations.
Fully understand the hotel networkinfrastructure, computer systems, and software.
Detectsand resolves IT-related system / technical problemsencountered.
Provides technical support in the hotelComputer Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Software, Printers,Servers, Office Automation, System Applications, E-Mail, Internetand Intranet
Provides IT support to hotel guests as perrequests from Front Office / Guest Service Center.
Escalates issues / problems that cannot be resolved to senior ITmembers.
Assists in implementation and maintenance ofbackup procedure and full file recoverability.
Ensuresthat appropriate hardware and software are correctly used as percompany guidelines.
Reports any irregularities found todirect superior in IT Department.
Carries out computersystems troubleshooting with related parties according to schedulesset by the Manager.
Assists in the maintenance andsecurity of the computer room, and protection of in-house andexternal data security.
Assists in maintaining completeand up-to-date documentation on existing network configuration andapplications.
Assists in the maintenance and securityof the computer room, and protection of in-house and external datasecurity.
Preferably has working experience in a 5* hotel
Graduate / Postgraduate in IT.
Certifications fromMicrosoft, Cisco etc.
Familiar with hotel operatingsystems : i.e. Opera, Micros etc
Candidate must belocally available (UAE)
