Job Duties and Responsibilities :

o Ensure consistent greatfood production, in line with the high quality standards

o Perform tasks withina timely manner

o Contribute to Kitchenrevenue through effective food cost control

o Provide support to theKitchen brigade

o Prepare and present highquality dishes within company guidelines

o Keep all working areasclean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination

o Prepare all mis-en-placefor all relevant menus

o Assist other departmentswherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

o Report maintenance,hygiene and hazard issues

o Comply with hotel security,fire regulations and all health and safety and food safetylegislation

o Awareness departmentaltargets and strive to achieve them as part of the team

o Meet all health and hygienerequirements

o Beenvironmentally aware. Job Requirements andQualifications :

o Previous experience as aCommis Chef or Apprentice Chef

o Positive attitude

o Good communicationskills

o Abilityto work under pressure

o Proven ability to work witha team and to follow instruction

o A passion to learn and adrive to succeed in a culinary / hospitality career

o A passion for food and theculinary arts

o Experience multi-taskingand working in an environment with rigorousstandards.
