Description : Job Summary
The Associate Manager Procurement has an integral role of Sourcing for Indirect material, Services and Capex related procurement.
Faster response and timely closure of the purchase transactions including negotiations are the main deliverables of this role.
The incumbent is expected to support development of procurement process and simplification of the transactional load for the department.
Implementation of category sourcing strategies across the business is a vital output, this is required to optimize the way procurement activity is conducted.
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Facilities (Civil & MEP works)
2) Utility Equipments (Boilers, Chillers, Air Compressors etc)
3) Services (Technical intervention, Annual maintenance contracts, Manpower services, Business support services)
4) Fuel (Diesel, CNG, LPG, Propane etc)
5) Utilities (Electricity, Water, Solar power plants)
Contribute to bottom line - Cost saving & optimisation
Customer delight - Response time to internal customer
Work experience requirement
Total Work Experience minimum of 8 years in Procurement
Successfully handled indirect procurement for minimum of 4 years
Regional Experience, preferably GCC
Should have handled complex and high visibility procurement projects
Sourcing suppliers globally in relevant categories
Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Electrical) + MBA from Premier institute
CIPS or any relevant Procurement / Supply Chain certification is desirable.
