Job Description

  • Our client, a leading bank in the region islooking for Strategy Execution Manager - Subsidiaries. As aStrategy Execution Manager - Subsidiaries, the person will beresponsible for managing the Strategy execution of thegroup'
  • s managed subsidiaries. Responsibility includesmanaging and liaising with the subsidiary's strategyexecution teams for developing, executing and monitoring the annualBusiness Plan, Capital Expenditure (CapEx) plan, PerformanceManagement process as well as the Project Management Office (PMO)with minimal supervision.

    An ideal candidate should come from astrategic consulting background. Keyresponsibilities :

  • Manage the development of a subsidiary annual BusinessPlan and CapEx plan ensuring alignment with Group's longterm strategic goals and associated key strategicinitiatives
  • Manage the development, reportingand review of a subsidiary Performance Management approach andprocess. This entails definition of KPIs across balanced scorecarddimensions, understanding the needs and drivers of each
  • Deliver quarterly performance management update of asubsidiary while providing perspective and value-adding insightinto the performance and execution of strategy
  • Define, monitor and ensure execution of allsubsidiary's strategic projects portfolio (PMO)
  • Ensure full alignment of Business Plan, CapEx plan,Performance Management and PMO methodology, process, schedule andtools across the subsidiary
  • Lead, manage andprofessionally develop the strategy execution teams in thesubsidiary
  • Keyrequirements :

  • Masters' degree with a Minimum of 8 years ofsimilar experience within the financial services arena.
  • Previous experience in a leading role for strategyexecution
  • Awareness of a management consultingapproach (previous senior role in such is an advantage)
  • Experience with performance management, balancedscorecard approach and management of information systems(MIS)
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of theactivities and functions of the various business and supportdivisions in a financial institution
  • Stronglydeveloped analytical, numerical, evaluation and planningskills
