Job title : Application support analyst

Workarrangement : offshore (for example, working fromIndia)

Contractduration : 12 months (short-term contract)

Salary range : open tonegotiation

Primarily involved in the Applications Support Services ofIT Department, delivering Services to the customers internally andexternally.

Implement and execute best practices, techniques, andprocedures essential to an applicationâ s optimaloperation, performance and availability to the customers whilemaintaining the quality of data and the health of the platforms andservice delivered (not limited to patient portal and clinicalportal)

Key Activities andResponsibilities :

  • Responsible for the monitoring of customer applications,raising and monitoring critical logs and working directly withcustomers internal and external teams to troubleshoot and supportincidents regarding customers applications and systems as part ofthe day to day operations.
  • Follow-up withusers and support staff on requests and incident tickets resolutionlifecycle.
  • Users management within theplatform or delivered services
  • Leverage problem solving skills and accurate workingmethod when collaborating with Application team and with customers,on a wide variety of business and technical issues in a fast paceenvironment that is managed using ITIL methodology.
  • Understand the technical architecture ofMalaffiâ s customer solutions.
  • Implement, optimize, test and release the data managementscripts, hotfixes, system monitoring scripts on the customersenvironment
  • Assist in the project team chargedwith the implementation of Malaffi applications to customers, morespecifically the technical and data integration betweenapplications.
  • Participate in regular customerservice status meetings.
  • Validate and keep thecustomer environments up-to-date (internal andexternal).
  • Perform other tasks that managermay assign from time to time.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelorâ s degree in IT orequivalent field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-onexperience in IT application support services.
  • Preferably with experience in healthcareindustry.
  • Solid understanding of HIE bestpractices.
  • Excellent communication skills,verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English (oraland written)
  • Excellent problem solving skillsand ability to deal with difficult situations.
  • Strong data analytical skills and empirical reportingcapabilities.
  • A confident and determinedapproach. A high degree of self-motivation, drive and aself-starter.
  • Resilience and the ability tocope with rejection.
  • Ability to work bothindependently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibleand professional attitude. Capacity to flourish in a competitiveenvironment.
  • Must be able to work effectivelywith all levels of management and executive staff, possessing tact,discretion and diplomacy.
  • Ability to maintainconfidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of the dynamicsand trends in health care or health informationexchange.
  • Rhapsody knowledge is aplus
  • HL7 knowledge is a must
