A Training & Quality Manager for Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre will act as a change catalyst for cultural and organizational transformation and quality assurance through the development of function excellence among Team Members.
What will I be doing?
As a Training & Quality Manager for Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you serve as an integral component of the Human Resources function by supporting learning and development initiatives through the Hilton's comprehensive training framework.
You will be also monitoring, in coordination with departmental leaders, the correct application of luxury standards and procedures.
You will manage recurring opportunities and design programs that allow continuous improvement, anticipating the results of guest satisfaction by meeting consistent luxury standards.
Specifically, a Training & Quality Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards :
Support departments in developing cutting edge functional excellence and in developing leadership capabilities.
Act as a change catalyst in the cultural and organizational transformation of the hotel.
Provide key input of Training and Quality aspects for all activities and plans of the hotel.
Mange the performance management and succession plan process.
Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience-based learning.
Induct, coach, and mentor new Team Members and provide training regarding our guest satisfaction program.
Interact with hotel leaders responsible for people development on a daily basis to provide support to operational departments.
Partner with departments to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development interventions.
Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department.
Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the hotel.
Promote the achievement of quality and performance improvement throughout the hotel.
Work closely with the Department Heads to formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures to improve our guest satisfaction results and our online scores and position.
Implement programs that allow the continuous improvement of processes.
Enforcing the Language of Luxury that are relevant to each department.

Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and techniques.
Have previous experience of leadership in the areas of both Training and Quality in a luxury hotel.
Solid knowledge of Forbes standards.
Previous experience in leading the partnership process with Forbes and achieving the Five-Star rating that verifies luxury hotels and elevate the guest experience.
Strong knowledge of statistics and ability to analyze and process information.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Excellent people management skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal relationships.
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally.
Excellent grooming standards.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Ability to work on their own or in teams.
Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :
Degree in Training or Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a luxury hotel in UAE.
