You’ll focus on all aspects of documentation planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements.
Our team helps our clients identify and analyse priorities and develop policies to provide guidance and detailed advice. You’ll help our clients coordinate their worldwide transfer pricing policies to help define their business requirements and develop appropriate tax strategies.
The Firm Tax Team sits within ME OneFinance. It supports all levels of Firm Tax and VAT activity, including provisioning, reporting, compliance and advisory to the business.
The Firm Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing, is responsible for managing all firm tax related transfer pricing matters. This includes establishing ongoing compliance requirements for specific country TP rules, completing documentation to support tax audit queries (benchmarking studies, functional analysis reports, etc) as well as supporting on one off matters such as reviewing agreements, calculations, documentation and internal practices and advising on improvement to move the PwC ME Group toward best practice in all Transfer Pricing related practices.
The Firm Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing is under the supervision of the ME Firm Tax Leader and works collaboratively with Finance Leaders and tax specialists across the ME region.
The Firm Tax Manager - Transfer Pricing will have a thorough understanding of the implications of cross border transactions and how this impacts the PwC ME Group from an operating model perspective and will use this knowledge to produce relevant documentation and support to optimise PwC ME’s tax position by managing TP related compliance and transactional risks.
In addition, responsibility will include responding to tax questions posed by both IFS and LoS teams on tax issues encountered in their day to day operations.
Review calculations and advise on the accuracy of those calculations and the correct methodology required for TP related purposes
Compare methodologies where relevant and make recommendations on those comparisons to optimise the tax efficiency of the PwC ME Group
Manage the PwC ME Group’s TP compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring adherence to submission and reporting deadlines
Work with local finance, tax and LoS specialists to understand tax laws, regulations etc., and build these specificities into the overall tax compliance strategy
Validate TP tax compliance strategy in conjunction with the Firm Tax team
Responsible for providing TP tax guidance and support to local and centralised Finance and Tax teams to best manage tax risks, liabilities and opportunities
Provide inputs for all TP related tax audits conducted by internal & external auditors
Advise stakeholders on efficient tax (TP) methodologies with regard to the business model and local tax regulations
Support with planning for / mitigating impacts from a change in tax law
Prepare tax audit defence reports and documentation to support tax (TP) positions taken
Ensure on time submission of TP related compliance for tax returns and disclosures for the PwC ME Group
Deliver internal reports to ME Firm Tax Leader, highlighting key risks and exposures as well as tax management opportunities (TP related)
Organise effective internal tax training and appropriate support for the business
Consolidate, review, analyse and challenge tax report inputs from a TP perspective

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Law or related field required
Certified Tax Accountant or similar
Fluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage
5+ years of experience of which at least 2 years is in a people management role
Demonstrated general tax knowledge and specific transfer pricing related experience
Tax (TP) technical experience required with ME taxation preferred
Experience in the Professional Services industry in a top tier Big 4 firm or in-house with a multinational would be an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
High level analytical and quantitative abilities required to perform complex financial, legal and tax structuring, understand accounting and ad hoc reporting functions, including proficiency with computer based modelling and analytic techniques
Ability to understand tax processes, risk and controls and continuously improve procedures, controls and policies for functional areas of responsibility
Understanding of general / international accounting standards and practices
An understanding of and experience with technology based tax and data / analytics / automated solutions
Excellent people management skills including the ability to work effectively with various levels of professionals engaged in carrying out departmental functions in different locations
Organization, thoroughness, eye for detail, time management skills and proactivity required
Strong verbal and written communication skills required to effectively work with professional resources in accounting areas
