We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reception Team Leader to join the team at our Premier Inn Dubai International Airport.

What is the purpose of the job?

As a Reception Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the reception operations and team by ensuring best practices standards, policies and procedures are met and that a friendly, welcoming and efficient service is provided to all hotel guests in line with the hotel’s vision and values on customer satisfaction.

And every day to constantly elevate the guest care quality and provide a fantastic service that our guests love.

Your day-to-day work :

  • Monitor the work of receptionists and ensure the reception area is operated in a highly efficient manner in order to create a positive lasting impression on all our guest, visitors, suppliers and other external parties in line with our brand standards.
  • Set up, train the team and implement the front office procedures and practices.
  • Build a good rapport with guests and resolve any issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service.
  • Provide ongoing support to the team to be fully aware of all promotions, room prices, activities and events in the surrounding area to give accurate information to guests.
  • Ensure check in and check outs are followed as per the Premier Inn brand standard, and payments are dealt with according to the company’s cash handling procedures.
  • Assist the team to answer telephone calls promptly and clearly in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Check all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently.
  • Identify corporate leads and build long-term relationships for the benefits of both parties.
  • What are we looking for?

    Education and Experience :

  • You will be likely to have minimum of one year experience leading a reception team of a branded hotel.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Advanced English language.
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Self-motivation, innovation and creativity.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of Opera (PMS).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and coach people.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Flexible, agile and able to work under pressure.
  • Proactive and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
