Job Description

Implement and remove clearances in accordance with planned and emergent activities to support the operation of BNPP

Staff Training and Qualification

Attend training to equip necessary technical knowledge and skills and successfully complete all required training courses for Clearance implementer

Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance

Implement Clearances

Perform following job tasks timely and with quality to achieve the highest level of operation support of the plant.

  • Ensures that OPERABILITY of plant equipment is promptly restored following completion of work and testing.
  • Review procedures developed by other departments and provide comments
  • Understands the characteristics of operations
  • Operate Unit 1&2 Tagout (Clearances) Permit Order and maintain keys
  • Support the development of Start-up field requests
  • Perform system walk down and check the status of plant operation (ensuring plant configuration control procedures are implemented during release of plant and return to service)
  • Identify areas for improvement during commissioning phase
  • Support important commissioning tests (CHT / HFT)
  • Continuous Improvement

    Act as a mentor for clearance implementers. Provide advice and guidance using experience and acquired skills

    Accept assignment to work on clearances considered as complex and / or more technical than others

    Perform quality checks of other Clearance implementers’ products to ensure department as a whole meets company standards

    Participate in assessments to assist in the continuous improvement of department performance

    Teamwork

    Remain open to changing workload and type of tasks assigned due to the changing role that procedure writers will have from the start of the project until the transition to the online organization is complete

    Assist with the effective achievement of the organization’s objectives by meeting personal targets assigned by the Head of Work Management

    Be receptive and act upon formal and informal feedback and mentoring from Operations and Operations Support line management

    Stakeholder Engagement

    Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships

    Health Safety Environment & Security (HSES)

    Ensure compliance to all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, by delivery of the HSE Management Program to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service and a responsible environmental attitude.

    Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on individuals and information assets.

    Excellence & Quality Management

    Ensure commitment to culture of excellence and Quality Management by implementing best practices, complying with excellence requirements in terms of policies, procedures and systems, and exceeding stakeholders’ expectations.

    High School Diploma

    Qualified or previously qualified as an LO and clearance implementer

    5 years of experience performing Clearance Implementer level duties on-shift or in an operations support role.
