Requirements :

  • A relevant tertiary qualification combined with equivalent training and experience
  • Software quality assurance experience
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry / exit criteria
  • Proven knowledge of technology, Finance and ERP systems
  • Familiarity and / or programming experience with .NET and web-based technologies
  • Excellent SQL and data skills
  • Experience maintaining test environments, automated testing tools, and other resources in support of SQA process
  • Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high level judgment and to work independently to meet objective
  • Strong understanding of different software development life cycles and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
  • Responsibilities : SQA Process :

  • Maintains product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing
  • Works with System Support Team Leader and IT Manager to implement ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
  • SQA Projects

  • Works with IT Manager to manage the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
  • Works with System Support Team to provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
  • Works with the IT Manager to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for projects and other activities such as system deployment, customer integration, and both internal and external documentation.
  • Responsible and accountable of flagging to the IT Manager and System Support Team Leader the timing of inter-departmental deliverables and the quality of their output.
  • Organizational Liaison

  • Works closely with the Systems Development team to manage and respond to Software Quality Assurance issues with related groups such as Development, Database, Integration, and Customer Support.
  • Quality Management

  • Assures the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.
  • Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.
  • Deployment and Delivery

  • Works with the IT Manager and Systems Development team to deliver systems in Customer environments.
  • Works with IT Support Team Leader to create tasks and checklists for system deployment.
  • Documentation

  • Work with Systems Analyst to establish and maintain policy for documentation of all AMS products.
  • Provides input to Systems Analyst to create / improve both internal and external documentation.
  • Reviews documentation before release to external Customers.
