Faculty provide effectiveinstruction in English Foreign Language (EFL). Curriculum is taughtto second language learners within a student-centric learningenvironment that fosters respect for students, their culture, andtheir traditions.
Faculty play an important role in assisting withthe development and preservation of system-wide anddirectorate-specific policies, and are viewed as activeparticipants in academic and extra-curricular events at the Collegeand within the community.
Master's Degree in the relevantdiscipline
A minimum of 3 years teachingEnglish, preferably at a tertiary level
Preference forteaching experience in Social Sciences or Humanities
Applicable relevant industry experience ispreferred
Must be able to provide instructionat various levels within the program areas
Possess specialist knowledge and the ability to operatespecialist programs and equipment
Experiencein developing course curriculum as per accreditation andinternational standards
Have effectivepresentation skills, both theoretical and practical
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ademonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels ofthe organization
A high degree of computerliteracy and demonstrated ability to integrate technology into thelearning environment and teaching methodology
Seeks accreditation as an IELTS examiner
Have current knowledge of industry practices, trends andissues
Demonstrate the ability to function asa team player within a multi-cultural work environment
Overseas teaching / training experience to non-nativeEnglish speakers is desirable
