Job Role : HR MANAGER HEAD OFDEPARTMENT
Job Objective :
Manageall recruitment and employee development activities including butnot limited to training, career development, performance managementand employee related services for the entity'
s employeesand ensure the provision of quality HR support.
Manage and coordinate the Human Resource function,resources and strategies and ensure these functions are executedefficiently, accurately and in a timely manner;
Monitor and review the strategic performance of the humanresources department ensuring strategic alignment with thestrategic direction of support services division and theentity.
Initiate pro-active analysis andadvice on key strategic areas relative to the Human Resourcesdepartment;
Develop performance improvementinitiatives for the human resources department, recommend changeswhen seen necessary and ensure that corrective action plans andstrategic initiatives are identified and implementedaccordingly;
Develop and prioritize the humanresources department plans that are capable of meeting the needs ofthe entity's future;
Report on theoverall performance of the human resources department to theDirector of Support Services
Review andevaluate the work of staff under supervision, ensure that programsare of appropriate quality and that resources are used effectivelyand comply with the entity'
s policies andprocedures;
Support Learning by ensuringproper knowledge transfer and knowledge management forothers;
Organize, create, and distribute knowand ensure its availability for the team and futurejoiners;
Define criteria for accessprovisioning, revocation, and access terminations. Provideappropriate authorization of business access to information,information systems and applications used in delivering businessprocesses;
Assess business environment forrisks, and maintain appropriate records;
Ensure availability of required resources to carry outall tasks related to the HR department functions and ensureeffective utilization of staff
Performperiodic performance appraisals of the team within the HRdepartment;
Ensure that all staff acquire therequired skills and knowledge through appropriate trainingprograms;
Develop, review and update policiesand procedures for various functions within the HR department andensure adherence;
Management, review andsupervise recruitment related activities such as developingrecruitment plans, according to approved nationalization plans,targets and procedures.
