We are looking for a highly motivated andcertified DHA nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with childrenin aNursery / School.
Main Accountabilities :
The nursery nurse is responsible for creatingand maintaining best practices in relation to the health & safety andwell-being of children in our care.
Maintaining childrens medical records,ensuring all required medical information and documents are up to date.
Be up to date with all Covid 19 information,requirements, policies, and procedures in nurseries
Conducting a daily medical examination for thechildren so as to discover diseases and the children infected by them and toisolate these children for presenting them to the physician or referring themto the hospital.
Overseeing health and safety, hygiene, andsickness policies and ensuring the clinic is kept up to date for DHA or anyother government body inspections
Preparing a safe play environment, setting upequipment, ensure toys and equipment are cleaned and stored appropriately.
Supporting teachers in classrooms as anassistant teacher wherever needed
Carrying out first aid treatment for childrenand staff and or calling for emergency assistance whenever required.
Ensure compliance with DHA rules andregulations.
Provide training for nursery on the managementof allergies, and other major medical conditions to promote good health carepractice.
Practices infection control policies and hasawareness of this in everyday practice.
The candidate must have the ability to work as a member of a team,communicate effectively with young children and be flexible and willing toundertake a range of tasks in an efficient manner.
