Ubisoft Abu Dhabi successfully released two hidden-object / investigation free-to-play mobile titles : CSI : Hidden Crimes and NCIS : Hidden Crimes.

With the acquisition in February 2017 of the massive multiplayer free-to-play game Growtopia, the studio works on the titles live operations.

The team keeps focusing its efforts on creating further content for its live games and strengthening its players engagement in addition to work on other unannounced projects.

Job Description

Ubisoft Abu Dhabi is seeking a creative and versatile Social Media Content Specialist who would work closely with our Live Operations, Brand and Production Teams to develop and enhance our published content and manage our Social Media channels.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Define, grow & animate the Social Media channels of our games
  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy for multiple projects
  • Assist in defining goals / tasks and implement KPIs for evaluating them
  • Spearhead the creation of engaging Social Media content through various channels including creating static and animated assets, videos and trailers
  • Develop engaging and viral Social Media campaigns
  • Operate and moderate all our Social Media channels, ensure that customer input is communicated & answered
  • Create and send appropriate Social Media and content related reports, provide insights and feedback to keep our player base engaged outside of our games
  • Report on Social Media campaigns (ROI, satisfaction levels, post-mortems, etc.)
  • Ability to constantly monitor our Social Media channels and handle crisis effectively
  • Be the main point of contact with the mobile off-site Social Media teams
  • Key Requirements :

  • Avid social / mobile games player
  • Excellent knowledge of media and market trends, especially regarding Social Media.
  • Excellent knowledge & practice of social networking sites
  • Strong understanding of community development & management
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Should be fluent in English and should hold good communication skills to interact with various teams (being fluent in one or more other languages will be a strong plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focus on copy writing
  • Experience in creating and editing YouTube content and hosting Live Streams
  • Ideally, great knowledge of the video game industry with focus on mobile games
  • A passion for creating or playing games and experience with social games are preferable
  • Qualifications

  • 2 years in a similar role with at least 1 year managing Social Media channels for a Free-to-Play or Mobile game.
  • A Bachelors degree or any other relevant training or equivalent
