TeamProfile :

Weare the Cross-Divisional Governance (CDG) group within the InstitutionalSecurities Group (ISG) management function. CDG is responsible for managingseveral governance processes across ISG, including : Model Control, DataGovernance, Trader Mandate, Booking Model, and Trading Risk Limit Governance.

As an in-business risk managementteam, we partner with our business stakeholders, as well as the technologygroups and independent control functions to understand business needs and theirassociated risks, execute on practical solutions, and maintain a globalgovernance, communication, and awareness strategy that underscores a culture ofcontrol excellence.

Our team has a global presence with members located in NewYork, London, Budapest, Montreal, and Hong Kong.

Youwill :

As anin-business, full stack developer, you will operate independently and in smallteams to develop systems that support the business and other stakeholders.

Thisspecific role is a Senior Programmer-Analyst within the CDG Technical team inBudapest, responsible for the design and development of software systems thatsupport the global team’s processes and initiatives.

As a team member you will work closely withbusiness stakeholders, the technology departments and various control groupsacross Morgan Stanley. #LI-AH1

You have :

7+ years of experience designing and developing software systems.

A proven track record delivering solutions in a timely and accurate manner.

The ability to communicate effectively in English, both with end users and with technologists.

The ability to become an expert in a business domain while developing systems to support it.

Programming experience in multiple paradigms (object-oriented, functional, etc.).

Experience developing web applications using HTML, Javascript

Experience working with data, familiarity with relational databases, understanding of other database solutions is a plus.

Proficient understanding of SQL.

Experience using Linux tools and techniques on the job.

Experience using software development tools and methods, such as issue tracking, and version control.

You might also have :

Advanced Python programming skills, ideally applied to back-end frameworks like Django or Flask

Experience in Angular, React, or Vue front-end frameworks

Scala or Java

Financial Services experience.

Q / KDB Programming experience
