JOB PURPOSESupport in the development of Aldar Projects strategic plan, track progress, analyze trends / data, update / drive change in strategy where needed.

Champion data as a strategic asset to help define, prioritize, and streamline strategic and operational work.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Planning & Process MGTSupport in the development of the Aldar Projects 5-year vision, goals, objectives and initiatives.

Assist in developing strategy maps, identify objectives, KPIs and initiatives in conjunction with the heads of departments to ensure alignment of departments with the strategic plan.

Perform all analytical tasks when required during the strategic planning process.Setup and implement the business process mapping, ensure processes (level 1, level 2) are documented and communicated to the related functions.

Support in the cascading of the Aldar Projects strategy to all other business units to ensure overall alignment.Conduct research and build competitive advantage through identifying future trends and building future scenarios for the business.

Provides insights on strategic initiatives and opportunities for management to drive innovation and value for customers.Data ManagementDesign and develop operational analytics dashboards in collaboration with a cross-functional team of analytics and business personnel.

  • Utilize and build new, easy-to-understand tools to allow for simple visualization of complex data to allow end user to quickly identify and interpret patterns in the dataEngage with business stakeholders and translates business problems into analytics projects;
  • work with business to identify new business use cases that leverages data to improve business operations and decision making.

    Capture the right business data in place to enable future analytics at the AP and Aldar group levelStandardize and automate processes to help reduce errors and shorten delivery timelines.

    Conduct trainings on data concepts and solutions to improve awareness and usageConduct adhoc analytics projects as required by management.

    Understand data policies, data sharing agreements and data security standards.Ensure data is governed and well managed as per Aldar Group data guidelinesProvide analytics supporting to departmental Key business questions.

    KEY RESULT AREASDevelop operational analytics dashboardsPerformance reports monitoring & AP programData driven reports on Key business questionsMaster data management for AP and monthly dashboardsQUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSRELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCEMin of 6+ years in Information Technology in a large organization, preferably a regional real estate or construction companyFIELD OF EXPERIENCEExperience in delivery of strategy and data projects in domains of construction, property development and construction project management.

    TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLSKnowledge in strategy frameworks, concepts and practices.Knowledge in data analysis frameworks and tools (such as Design, Azure Cloud storage, ADF, SQL Server, Tableau, Data Modeling, Java, C++, Python, R, ect)Strong analytical, communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task, proven skills in negotiation and problem resolutionAbility to manage and build consensus among various stakeholdersExcellent communication skills (verbal, written)QUALIFICATIONBachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
