ROLE PURPOSE :
Responsible for building optimal assortment strategies (depth, breadth, seasonal vs. core assortment etc. In line with Cross-functional partnership with Store Operations, Commercial, Buying, Pricing Analyst.
KEY ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Collect, analyze, summarize and present category performance to create recommendations and implement improvements in support of category growth strategy.
Determine optimal assortment strategies (depth, breadth, seasonal vs. core assortment etc. In line with Cross-functional partnership with Store Operations, Commercial, Buying, Pricing Analyst.
Lead and conduct assortment analyses and planogram recommendations to make strategy-based assortment recommendations to customers.
Support the annual SKU rationalization process, ensuring we always have the most productive assortment in our portfolio by delivering Deliver New product introduction, portfolio mix and merchandising effectiveness analysis.
Build appropriate statistical models (regression, clustering, segmentation, etc.) to better understand and predict consumer behavior as they interact with our products and brands.
Executing the vision, strategy and implementation plan for categories to effectively meet the long-range requirements of the business goal and deliver maximum value.

Education : Degree required OR three years or more of analyst experience
