Four key areas that you’llalways focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, andproductivity of your department.
Review thework forecasts and determine your productivity requirements toproduce during the day to meet the overall buildingobjectives.
Partner with other Area Managersto balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced andefficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance toensure a safe work environment for all associates.
Proactively identify and lead process improvementinitiatives and Lean tools
You and your team of warehouseassociates are responsible for getting Amazon customers theirorders. You are responsible for ensuring that you have properlytrained people, and that their needs are addressed so they canfocus on their jobs.

ADDITIONAL JOBELEMENTS :
Regular bending, lifting,stretching and reaching both below the waist and above thehead
Walking in the FC and around area withgreat frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length
Continual standing and / or walking
Ability to work in construction / distributionenvironments that may be noisy, unlit, not air-conditioned
Able to access all areas of building (ascendingand descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and withoutlimitation)
SKILLs REQUIRED :
Direct management experience for employees and theirperformance
Experience with performancemetrics and process improvement (how, when, who)
Degree / Diploma from a reputed university
3+years management experience in a manufacturing, production ordistribution environment
Management of aminimum of 15 employees (including payroll, performance management,work-flow assignment)
Interest in long-termcareer development through assignments in multipleFCs
