The Middle East is a very important regional market for Cloudflare and has significant opportunities for growth. We are looking for a Sales Manager of the Middle East to help us invest and grow for a long, successful future.
The Sales Manager Middle East will be responsible for driving Cloudflare’s revenue in the region. The focus of the role will be market-facing, with an emphasis on building up the regional sales coverage model and on customer and prospect engagement including nurturing of executive relationships with enterprise customers.
In addition, the Sales Manager Middle East will be the leader of all customer facing teams addressing the region, providing leadership and direction to all sales and customer facing functions and teams in the Middle East business.
What you’ll do
Drive exceptional sales growth through successful leadership, organizational building, customer and prospect engagement, and highly effective planning and execution of the go-to-market plan for the Middle East.
Provide leadership for all customer and market facing functions within the Middle East including sales, channel, customer success, solutions engineering, business development and field marketing.
Engage effectively with large Middle East customers, prospects and partners and foster strong relationships with them as the Cloudflare leader representing our Middle East business.
Grow and build the Middle East team and drive the hiring needs for these markets by working with EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) functional leadership and recruiting resources, attracting great talent onto the Middle East team.
Develop sales individuals within the Middle East team, while you construct a productive, highly functional sales team and Middle East organisation as the business grows.
Design, build and execute strategies for Cloudflare in the Middle East in collaboration with EMEA functional leaders.
Interject as the single point of contact for all Middle East sales and customer facing operational concerns, ensuring proper and timely escalation and resolution
Ensure that corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are consistently applied and followed by Middle East team members
Outstanding leadership - inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead teams, develop talent and effect change. Willing and able to be a doer and influencer
Drive business cadence for forecast calls, functional review meetings, deal review, customer account reviews, weekly team meetings and periodic company-wide kick offs
Represent Cloudflare as appropriate at external conferences, media and PR events. Develop and maintain relationships with regional industry and government agencies and other related associations that are key to Cloudflare’s success in the regional markets..
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
10+ years of relevant, Regional or Country Leadership, coupled with Sales Management and Channel experience, preferably in SaaS / Cloud and software platforms or similar industry.
Lead organisations of greater than 10 sales representatives and greater than 10 supporting functions (greater than 20 staff in total).
Preferably has lead sales teams with multiple layers of management, in anticipation of future growth in the Middle East.
Deep experience and relationships with SaaS / Cloud community in the Middle East, able to establish, build and grow strong relationships.
Enterprise / corporate market rich experience including having a well regarded reputation in the Middle East and strong connections / relationships with large enterprise customers.
Sales growth oriented leader who drives rapid change and growth.
Exceptional collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Cloudflare.
Ability to define, develop and lead go-to-market programs in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Experience and capability to work with channel partners.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills; a highly effective influencer.
