The TechnicalSME Manager HVAC - Operations Support Services assistswith the delivery and management of the Service Providers andintegration of site-wide Expo 2020 Operations.
Themain responsibilities of this roleinclude :
Managementof the Operations Support Services functional area and venueplans;
Report to theLead Manager Operations Support Services to assist with anyFunctional requirements;
Ensure implementation and adherence for all Expo widePolicies and Procedures;
Act as the initial point of contact for onsite OperationsSupport Service activities;
Work alongside the appropriate zone, functional areaManagers, such as Ceremonies, International Participants and VenueManagement on ensuring a seamless delivery of Operationalsupport;
Manages theService Providers adherence to the planned preventativemaintenance, testing and inspections;
Manage allocated teams responsibly andproficiently, providing effective line management to directreports;
Evaluateperformance of individual direct reports;
Provide visible leadership to the team andacross the organization to key stakeholders.
6+years’ experience, two years of which were in a similarrole working within a highly dynamic and complex environment, withspecific experience related to Hard Services facility operations aswell as :
A Bachelor's degreewithin a relevant field;
Programme / project management experience coordinatingcomplex major event projects;
Understanding Hard Services operational dependencies andimpact on other functions and non-operationaldirectorates;
Background in facilities management oroperations;
Excellentverbal and written communication and presentationskills;
Experience inmanaging Hard Services Teams;
Experience in working with Government partners andmulti-agency stakeholder.
